Hello ****, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. To understand better, did you have a lawyer at the time the judgement was issued? Also, it might be helpful to know if the judgement was recorded in the county where the property is located.
yes it is in the county clerk of courts office and it was handled by child support but I cant get any explanations only we don't know how he was able to do it with the judgements in place.
Hello ****, it seems like a complex situation. If the judgement was properly recorded and your ex-spouse still sold the property, that might be a violation of the law. You may want to:
- Contact the Child Support Enforcement Agency in North Carolina
- Consult with a family law attorney for legal advice
- Consider reporting this to your local law enforcement if you believe fraud is involved.
I have been talking to the child support and clerks office and the response is they don't know how it happened. I will consult with a lawyer. I feel like he had some help from someone in the clerks office but I cant prove it.
Hello ****, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. It's essential to gather as much information as possible. If you suspect illegal activities within the clerk's office, you may want to:
- File a complaint with the North Carolina Judicial Standards Commission.
- Continue your consultation with a lawyer as they can help you to understand your legal options better.
Thank you
