I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Here are some steps you can consider:
*. Request a new public defender: If you're not satisfied with your current one, you can petition the court for a new one.
*. Evidence: Gather any evidence or witnesses that can support your claim.
*. Private attorney: Consider hiring a private attorney if you can afford it.
*. Document: Keep track of all interactions with law enforcement and the court for your records.

I tried to get rid of public defender judge says I'll b on my own and can't afford a lawyer
I understand your situation. If the judge won't replace your public defender, you can:
*. Express your concerns to the public defender directly.
*. Request legal aid organizations for help.
*. Consider pro bono services, some lawyers offer free services for those in need.
*. Self-representation: Research and learn about your charges, potential defenses, and trial procedures.

And my public defender tells me I don't know how to deal with this than I need to just take the felony and be done with it
I understand your concern. In this situation, you may consider:
*. Consult with another attorney for a second opinion.
*. Request your defender to file for a dismissal based on lack of evidence.
*. If possible, seek advice from a legal aid society.
