Can i get a fre or probono attorney in illinois to help me get my felony that i plead guilty to in a second chance probation agreement that i have a letter of discharge and dismissal for....help me get this felony reduced to a misdemeanor because i believe i was completely lied to and misinformed of what i was agreeing to in the agreement. I wasnt told about a waiting period for expungement and the expense and time consuming mission that would be nor was i informed that the dismissal of case would not be on record only the arrest and ans sentence and discharge from probafmtion are on public record. This agreement is a scam i was highly misinrmed about the details to influence my decision to agree to this.

Hancock county illinois and the public defender in this case who defended me until the day of my plea agreement, will not even return my emails. I am not capable of doing in front of a judge to request that this charge be reduced to a misdemeanor by myself. Self help information is not enoughtbfor this i need someone educated in law to represent me my life has been put on hold for 2 years already i am 46 years old and cant get a job w this rexord and anothrt 5byears down the road the employemnt outlook will only be even less likely w a person of my age so i need representation.
