i was served for a bench warrant for a traffic violation on a sunday night about * by about *-* cops they knocked on the garage door i said its open i didnt hear a response so i open the garage door with my phone in my left hand to * cops with body cameras on said i have a warrant i said for what they said driving offense i said i have the paper right on the desk its says the tenth and i put my hands in my sweatshirt pocket and quikly took them out at this time i put my phone on top of a * foot ladder on my property while i was being patted down i was asked if i had anything on me i said no and so did the cop behind handcuffing me i asked to show the court slip was told no asked what the warrant said was told well look at the station in the time of being handcuffed and walked down the drive one of the cops grabbed my phone with out my knowledge never saw it at the station even saying idk any numbers fortunatatly i was able to bail out on a * cash bail leave the police station get home and go wheres my phone so my friend calls the station to the response of why it was taken idk do you want him to drop it off with no excuse of where the phone was

taking my phone from my house is pretty big theres no reason didnt provide evidence to a bench warrant for missing court
