Hi ****, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. To better assist you, could you please tell me in which state this is occurring? Laws can vary significantly by location.
Oregon
In Oregon:
- Trespassing charges can be pursued by the state even if the property owner later forgives the trespasser.
- A no-contact order can be issued based on the initial incident.
- Criminal Mischief in 2nd degree is a serious charge.
Consider consulting with an attorney for advice tailored to your situation.
Can mu girlffriend get the no contact dropped since she wasnt tryi g to press charges in the first place
In Oregon, it's possible for a no-contact order to be lifted. However, it's typically up to the court's discretion, not the alleged victim's. Your girlfriend can express her wishes to the court, but the final decision rests with the judge.
There was no crime i dont get how this. Working she invited me over here and the crimal mischief is a miss understanding
In Oregon, the state can pursue charges even if the alleged victim didn't want to press charges initially. Misunderstandings can occur. It's essential to have a legal representative clarify the situation to the court. Legal Aid Services of Oregon might help.

I understand your frustration, ****. In Oregon, you may be able to request a sooner court date. You could also reach out to legal aid organizations outside your immediate area. They may offer phone or online consultations.
