my partner was arrested on June *, *, in Presque Isle, Maine, following a prior incident on February *, *, which may be related or part of a pattern of enforcement. Bail was set at $* unsecured, requiring no upfront payment. Despite satisfying all release conditions—including a verified address, funded accounts, and no known detainers—he remains in custody due to an unresolved administrative delay, likely involving caseworker sign-off or address verification. A motion for bail review is being filed to clarify the cause of continued detention and request immediate release if no legal basis remains.
It sounds like a frustrating situation. Filing a motion for bail review is a good step. Here are a few things to consider:
- Ensure all required documentation is included with the motion.
- Verify the contact details of the caseworker involved.
- Follow up with the court for updates on the motion's status.
Would you like assistance in connecting with a local lawyer who can help with this process?

when it comes to the domestic violence this is an isolated incident in which it was more of a reflexive motion because i grabbed his arm. no marks or bruising were on me. officers did not ask about the incident when arresting him, they did not have any form of ID for him, stated it was a traffic stop but took no vehicle info nor did they issue citations, appeared to know my registration was out without running it based off officer statement "get it home and get it registered". is there someone who can help?
