Full Conversation

My sister goes to camp road middle schoolin south carolina. They are allowed two passes a day, and then told no for the rest of a day to use the restroom. They was onw time a kida had to get water and an other that had to use a restroom it was * degrees out no clouds. The teacher told them no your too loud. Is this legally right?
Hello Pamela, while I'm not an attorney, I can share that in general, schools must provide reasonable access to drinking water and restrooms. However, the definition of "reasonable" may vary. South Carolina's specific laws or the school's policies might provide clearer guidance. It might be helpful to speak directly with the school administration.
Thanks they also feed her raw food, is this an concern? In saying that i tried bringing her food and they told me no and that they have food there, which is raw. This reasoning made no sense so i tried to ask why, and she yelled at me. Is that ok?
Hello Pamela, generally, schools must provide safe and nutritious food to students. If you believe the school's food is not safe or nutritious, you can report this to the local health department. It would also be beneficial to discuss this issue with the school administration.
The school administration does this on purpose, now what do i do?
Hello Pamela, if you believe the school administration is deliberately causing harm, you can:
- File a formal complaint with the school district
- Contact the South Carolina Department of Education
- Consult with a local attorney for further legal advice
Thansk so much
You're welcome, Pamela! If you need any more advice, feel free to reach out. Remember, it's important to keep documenting everything. I hope everything gets resolved soon.
