Boyfriends Deceptive Child Abandonment

I am seeking legal advice regarding the potential legal consequences of a deceptive and fraudulent act committed by my longtime boyfriend. We do not live together, nor do we have any children together. However, his actions have put my children in danger and discomfort. The situation arose when my boyfriend offered to pay for round trip plane tickets for our children to visit their aunt and uncle in Memphis. Initially hesitant, I eventually agreed under the assurance that they would return home before school started. However, it has come to light that he deliberately did not book a return trip and planned to leave the children there without my consent for an extended period of time. As a result, my children have now been away from home for over three weeks and are being exposed to distressing and negative situations involving the new sister-in-law. It is important to note that the financial burden of bringing them back lies solely on me, as he refuses to take responsibility despite having the means to pay for their return. Under Florida law, I would like to know what potential consequences someone may face for intentionally deceiving and committing fraudulent acts against a woman with whom they had a close relationship spanning many years. This situation has not only placed my children in an uncomfortable and potentially dangerous position but has also caused significant emotional distress for myself as well. I have been told that it can be 3rd degree felony as far as child desertion / abandonment per , child endangerment, child neglect, Interference with Parental Custody *.* as well as fraud

Verbal agreement and multiple verbal clarifications that they were to fly home by now, I even mentioned that I did not have the money (which he already knew) to reimburse him and he said it was taken care of. Additionally my father, Aunt and brother were all under the same impression that I was.
