DCFS took my children due to an accidental injury from their father who I Am with it was obvious that they weren't going to reunite our family so we ended up voluntarily terminating our rights and I wanted to know if we are able to have more children still. I live in Illinois

Nothing ever written, but I asked my caseworker before I signed over my rights and she said I can't have kids in Illinois but that didn't make sense to me.

I did not. But I know for a fact they never gave me anything saying that I can't have more children or that they'll take my future children and I know I didn't sign anything saying that either I read everything before I signed anything

She said just because I had a previous case with suspected child abuse

They never filed for termination. Our children are going through an open adoption and we are in contact with the Foster mother who will be adopting them.
