My ex is a cover narcissist. I've documented a lot of our relationship and detailing the grooming and eventually emotional/psychological abuse. He weaponized gaslighting/history rewriting/reactive abuse/etc. I got out and had support to help me during the break up and it wasn't until my nervous system calmed down a month later that I realized the patterns and accepted what my best friend and gynecologist told me: he's a covert narcissist.
It sounds like you've been through a challenging time. Are you seeking legal advice on how to protect yourself or perhaps considering any legal actions against your ex?
Back in November I started having weird symptoms (spotting and full on bleeding in between periods and sometimes blood after sex). When I told him, he said "that's weird because Haley (his ex) had the same thing happen to her after sleeping with me". I fawned and brushed it off at the time and said I had a doctor's appointment in May and they couldn't move it up. We broke up in April and when I went to the doctor's appointment I had a complete trauma response because of the emotional abuse being triggered. I was then diagnosed with Mgen. The same day I was diagnosed I saw that he was posted on the Are We Dating the Same Guy Facebook page for Indiana so I knew he was sleeping around with people while having this information.
I'm sorry to hear about your situation, ****. Given your experience and diagnosis, you might consider exploring legal options related to your ex's behavior. In Indiana, knowingly transmitting an STD can have legal consequences. Are you interested in learning more about potential legal actions?
I waited two days to regulate myself and process the ethical dilemmas involved and decided to post him to protect others, even if it publicly announced me having an STI. I posted the picture he was using for dating apps and his first name and then the following message:

****, it seems like you might have a high-value case, especially considering the potential legal implications of knowingly transmitting an STD. Would you like to be connected to local lawyers who can better assist you with your case?
Well i can't post it all but I summarized what he told me about his ex having the same symptoms and not waiting for an all clear from me. I never specifically said he HAD Mgen. I explained that it's not detected on most STI testing and encouraged people to get diagnosed with doctors who check for it during pap smears. I also shared the nature of our relationship in detail staring with the grooming and listing out the narcissistic abuse tactics he utilized on me. I never named his ex.

however, someone shared the post with him and now after a month and a half of him not speaking to me after leaving me in a very destabilizing and unsafe state that he created, he is reaching out and trying to intimidate me. He emailed me "what are you doing?" Then he created a fake number to call me (because he's blocked) and called a couple of times, texted "can we talk" and left a voicemail saying I was "dragging people into this who don't need to be dragged into it" at *:30am on Friday night/Saturday morning. Then yesterday I came home to a handwritten note in my mailbox saying he is going to sue me for defamation
