I went * courts and picked up a packet * My adult daughter who is incarcerated. The firm is Guardian and Conservator * an Adult. I did because I'm concerned * her well being because she was having Mental Issues when they picked her up. She has already been on Lockdown the whole time she's been there. She has $ on her books, she has $ for phone * contact family, We have sent her Postcards, and no response what so ever. I did a form online * jail medical explaining * do an evaluation on her, and supposedly that won't even tell Me if they evaluated, she has a whole year * do, am I supposed * wait a whole year * heat anything about her
I'm sorry to hear about your situation. It sounds very concerning. To better assist you, have you considered contacting the jail or prison directly to inquire about her condition and any evaluations? They might be able to provide some information on her status.
I did that so many times and Nobody knows Nothing and she's an adult, so I can't any kind of information at all. It's like they could care less about Me worrying about her Mental status. Cause if that's the case, it would b better * get her that help now because by a whole year can b * late
It sounds like a very difficult situation. In Arizona, you might consider these steps:
- File a petition for guardianship through the court, which could grant you legal authority to make decisions about her care.
- Contact a local attorney specializing in guardianship or prisoner rights for specific legal advice.
