It sounds like a tough situation. In Virginia, you are indeed not obligated to provide housing for your mother. You have the right to decide who lives in your home. Here are a few steps you can consider:
- Communicate Firm Boundaries: Clearly state to both your mother and PACE that your decision is final for her safety and your own well-being.
- Legal Advice: Consult with a family law attorney to understand your rights and any legal actions you can take to enforce your decision.
- Exploring Alternatives: Look into other care options that PACE can offer which do not involve her returning to your home.

She wants to come back home with me she is set on coming back since she can make her own decisions but i do NOT want her back, do i have to accept her back since she can make her own decisions but it's not safe here and i work here and no one is to take care of her and we have no other family to do so
You are not obligated to take your mother back into your home, especially if it compromises her safety and your work environment. It's important to stand firm on your decision. Communicate this clearly to PACE and your mother. Would you like assistance finding alternative care options or a local attorney for further guidance?

If you refuse to let your mother back into your home, PACE should work with you and her to find alternative care arrangements. It is essential to communicate clearly with PACE and your mother about the non-viability of your home as an option and explore other solutions they offer.
