Hi. I live in a LIHTC apartment building in San Francisco. Management has sent an Anti-Violemce Weapons Policy Lease addendum to all tenants for signature. I am * and have been disabled for over 15 years and related conditions have weakened my overall agility and physical capabilities considerably. I have a stun Gun / teaser to protect myself. This lease addendum concerns me. Firstly, breach of lease if you carry concealed weapon in common areas without a concealed weapons permit...to leave the building I have to exit my apartment which is a common area to reach either elevator or stairs so my entire exit or entry to the building from / to my apartment is common area. The way I read this is that I want to exit the building and take my weapon with me, I am in a breach of less every time go out return since entirety is common areas. To my knowledge a concealed weapons permit is not required for a stun gun / teaser. In addition managemen is requiring all tenants to
