I live in louisiana. I was renting an apartment. They require a 60 day notice to end the lease. I gave them a 7 month notice. I made sure I did not owe anything and then 4 months later i get a call from collections saying i owe the apartments almost * dollars. They charged me for 17 days of living there after i had moved out and also charged me for a garage. The girl who turned it into collections even said on the phone - which i have in recording - that i should not have been charged anything.
