Condo Sale Approval Process

Summary

The condo associations rules require co-owners to notify the Board of Directors before selling, leasing, or renting their units. The Board has 20 days to consent or designate an alternative buyer or renter. The lack of guidelines for consent may raise concerns about fairness and transparency. Consult a real estate attorney for advice.
