Summary
In Illinois, a traffic citation remains valid even if the officer does not sign it. Your signature on a citation is an acknowledgment of receipt, not an admission of guilt. Ignoring a traffic ticket can result in additional penalties, such as license suspension and increased fines. To contest a traffic ticket, follow the legal procedures set by the Illinois court system. The cost of a ticket for expired registration typically ranges from $90 to $120, while speeding 19 mph over the limit can cost between $120 and $140. Shuttlesworth v. Birmingham (1969) highlighted First Amendment rights, but traffic citations are generally valid until a court decides otherwise. If you believe your ticket is unjust, contest it through the legal system rather than ignoring it.Full Conversation

I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS OFFER TO CONTRACT AND I DO NOT CONSENT TO THESE PROCEEDINGS" and then i stamp it at the bottom right corner with a postage stamp and then cancel the stamp w my thumbprint in blue ink and then sign my name across the stamp at a * degree angle and write my EIN in the top right corner without dashes. And my social secuity number without dashes and tge get that paper in which the ticket is copied on notorized. And make copies if this ans send it to the clerk of court, the justice of the peace, the tax assessors office and the prosecutors office and mail this copy to all of those offices what will then take place?

- The Supreme Court ruled that a city ordinance requiring a permit for a march was unconstitutional if it gave city officials too much discretion to deny permits.
- The ruling reinforced that laws cannot be used to suppress free speech and peaceful assembly arbitrarily.
