I had been on vacation and reported someone who was abusing their child and when they wouldn’t talk to dcfs the first investigator started to investigate us but he stated on body camera that we were doing a great job and had everything our daughter needed and could leave Illinois I snapped at him for not helping the child from the other family and later that day another second investigator came with five police officers and stated they were taking our daughter (who is my fiancé’s child and not mine by blood) because of my prescription medication I told them that I needed them for mobility and pain management and she didn’t listen I told them they had no right or warrant and

so they hand cuffed me then my fiancé tried to run inside to hug the baby and the police tackled her to the ground and they took our child at the probable cause hearing my fiancé’s public defender promised her if she waved her probable cause hearing we would get the baby back by the end of the day and could just leave Illinois that didn’t happen and so I gave them a letter that my doctor wrote stating that I showed no sign of addiction or abuse so they dropped the original allegation and started making stuff up

the casa (court appointed special attorney) testified that in her opinion this was malicious prosecution and DCFS never should have been involved with our family but because my fiancé had tried to report that the judge hugged her the second caseworker sexually harassed her they both lied about the incidents and the same judge ordered a phycological evaluation then the next court date they ended the case early and sent the baby with my fiancés mom and step dad who she testified he molested her throughout her entire childhood and told of an incident number of his admission but they perjured themselves but the phycological assessment never came yet we found out when it did come back that the psychologist reported that she was capable of being a mother and her iq was * so in all the judge said she was mentally unfit when he sent the baby back to NY but without a intestate compact.
