I was employed with my local City Government for 28 years. I never had any bad work reviews. Over a period of years my director repeatedly asked me when I was going to retire, complained to me how much money I made, treated me differently than my peers. Was exceptionally critical with just me. Finally she put my on a PIP that had very little to do with my work duties and at the very end called me to her office and explained that I was not qualified for my job anymore, but then handed me a job description of the same job in a different city department that she said I was qualified for. After I left she hired a male who I understand is much younger than me
