My employer doesn’t have any policies in place about surveillance. I am aware they have surveillance cameras and that is fine with me. They don’t have my consent to film videos of my conversations with clients on an iPhone. I’m just wondering if that part is illegal

They’re being stored on an insecure device in my workplace. They’re being shared with all of my coworkers, the owner, and the owners girlfriend, who is not employed by the company. They also want to use the videos for advertise purposes. Which is why I’m not giving my consent.
