I recently had a medical condition that place me in the hospital. I was recently hired in to a company prior to my medical condition and the manager changed my work status from full time to flex. Which caused me to lose my benefits. Are they allowed to do that ?

No I haven't, my medical condition placed me in the hospital and I had to have open heart surgery. I've been trying to take care of things and didn't know where to start

They provide a lot of policies but nothing I've read states that they could change my work status with out my consent. I've reached out multiple times and also sent messages to them concerning this matter and I have not received anything information back concerning this matter.

I have had Open Heart Surgery in which my chest bone was sawed to replace my right ventricular, I've also had a double bypass on my left Ventricular during the same surgery. Yes I have applied for SSDI and I'm waiting for a response from social security

I did apply for their benefits however after the manager changed my status it shows that I have no benefits. I've even received a letter from Cobra insurance from amazon
