We have tried but they just don't understand him and he doesn't understand them. He gets very frustrated but is a very kind and docile individual

I've been trying to help him for 3 years I'm at a loss, wits end
Have you tried reaching out to disability advocacy groups for assistance? They might be able to provide specialized help.
Yes, I tried that but there's so many cases I think.. he is left vulnerable for arrest without Identification
Have you considered reaching out to the Texas Department of Public Safety to discuss the specific reasons for the ID denial and possible solutions?
Yes, sadly this problem is with them
What reasons did the Texas Department of Public Safety give for denying your son's ID application?
Last year they wanted copy of his birth cert, they admit they have a copy, but want him to present another physical copy. He walked to OKC where he was born returned a month later, without ID they would not give him a copy. This last time, in March, they show us * camping tickets from * totalling over *. In fees. He does not remember ever getting a ticket for camping.. he keeps moving doesn't stay in one place
