Hello Kendra! Could you please provide more details about your legal issue so I can assist you better? For example, is it related to family law, criminal law, property, or another matter?
. it is so many different things that I don't even know where to start, ill just start the best I can. It started about 6 years ago when I was flagged by the IRS as a victim of identity theft, i. It ,went from idenitty theft, to identity fraud, to impersonating me, to harassment, stalking, isolating me... i have been financially abused i have had my financial aid, pell grants, unemployement payments, stolen from my accounts as soonn as money deposited into it. any and all of my accounts have been compromised to were i can;t get into them and the passwords have been changed to keep me out. i have tried making police reports twice about these things and the comment they gave me was "this is too overwhelming"....i have woke up with sections of my hair been cut, my nails have been cut in to the quick, or i have deep brusing and abrasions on my body that were not there the night before but i do have those things documented with picutrues.
Kendra, I’m sorry to hear about your situation. To provide you with some general guidance:
- Identity theft and fraud are serious crimes. Report these incidents to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) via identitytheft.gov.
- For financial abuse, consider contacting your bank to secure your accounts and discuss fraud protection.
- For physical harm, continue documenting injuries and file a police report. If local police are unhelpful, consider contacting the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
- A civil protection order may be helpful if harassment and stalking persist.
