The start of the end * On the day Jim was to be his last day at work, instead of going to work, Jim was admitted to the hospital . Three weeks later,my husband passed away from Brain Cancer. Can you put yourself in my place? Retired,Bought retirement home, Listed our Home in Milford, Packing, Diagnosed with stage * lung cancer, Jim puts in for retirement admitted to hospital on that day, died * weeks later, How can this happen his doctor said, his headaches were due to the stress worrying about me, and gave him something for anxiety. ( Encouraged by my’ Lawyer to look into malpractice charges, after $*, cost was getting to high, It came down to the fact the I was not in the room when the Doctor told him that it was stress, and Jim didn't ask for a copy of the visit. On Jim's death bed a family Friend who was a lawyer had Jim on the phone transferring all the money from the 401K to the IRA. I knew nothing about IRA, The lawyer saw me as a checkbook the accountant he suggested was awful, The Lawyer even borrowed money from me, never paid it back. I had to buy the car to be able to put it in my name. I had to pay everything from the IRA, the two house, I was paying on the second Mortgage for 3 years,,, In *,I called the credit card companies to see what was 0wed on the credit cards,,, I never had to deal with any of this before. Now I am talking to credit card companies who told me that they will send me my own card, knowing that we had perfect credit, with high limits, and money in the IRA. I just said ok,,,I was offered no help or Information. When I got the cards and was going to pay for Jim service ,that came to $*,* . I went to pay on my GM Card, I knew the limit was $*,*, the card was declined this how I found out the credit card limits were lowered. The only credit card that offered help was Discover they said ,that they were closing out the card, because I didn't not open the card, I was a authorized user. The Balance will not be transferred to my new card, but limit might be reduced, They sent the card, the limit $ *,* , because they were so good to me I used them the most in *, I paid Discover 9n * $*,* for bills, I was paying off the credit cards that were high because of the balance transfer. To my new card. The week after Jim's service, I had to buy the * Kia, in order to put it in my name. I had to hire the lawyer to put everything in my name, He had a accountant he said Was good,,,that was terrible . I called credit card companies to find out what was going on, I was in for a big shock,, All the cards had reduced my Limit. Only Discover Credit a said I didn't open the account, so I wasn't responsible for the balance,,I should have call all the credit card co, but I forgot there was a lot going on, Chase at this time I have been with them for 19 years, that was in * at that time perfect payment history and the limit From * to * limit was $*,* the smallest out of all the credit cards ,* t0 * but now it was $*,*. they did include the joint balance, * to * it was $* thats 29 years no missed payments. see attachment Every card lowered my limit and included the joint balance, what sneaky Chase did they sent me a new card, with the same number as the joint account so they could pass the joint balance on to me,,,they knew I didn't open the account, I had a accountant who did the taxes for the first year, all the money was put in an IRA. Jim died in August *, In the beginning of * my taxes were done for * ,I was shocked at what I had to pay between federal and state and the penalties that I encourage because the accountant didn't file for a extension I was over $*,* I called and asked him what I was supposed to do he said” you have the money in the IRA pay them “so I paid them He forgot to get an extension and was hit with a penalty because, I was living in Florida, he forgot to do Ma tax. My money was going fast $*,* for Federal and $*,*’ for Ma state tax, At this time there was no way, I could fight the credit agency so I just continue to pay my credit card..and never went back to the credit report In In * I received a letter from Social Security telling me that because I had all this money my medicare bill would be going up so I was paying my social security check went from $* to $18oo that means my health insurance Blue cross $* Medicare $* Fl blue $* $ * a month out of $*. Which didn't leave much money. This continued for 3 years because they take the last 3 years of your income tax and go by that so I couldn't get the any increase I was living on $* a month The next year my IRS bill was $*,* ,I didn't have it because, I was paying off credit card balances. my tax bill after 9 years is $*,* . The stress is Affecting my health big time,,, I called credit card companies to find out what was going on, I was in for a big Shock,, All the cards had reduced my Limit. Now . One Credit a said I didn't Open the account, so I wasn't responsible for the balance,,I should have call all the Credit card co, but I forgot there was a lot going on, Chase at this time I have been with them for 19 years, that was in * at that time perfect payment history and limit was high ,I think I know it was high, but now it was $*,*. they did include the joint balance, Every card lowered my limit and included the joint balance, what sneaky Chase did they sent me a new card, with the same number as the joint account so they could pass the joint balance on to me,,,they knew I didn't open the account, Chase From the beginning they were out to destroy me as you read on you will see. I went and looked at the Equiflex report and was shocked that my credit score was *. I called to ask what happen ,they told me I was over the *% , What is *% didn’t Know anything about this . By the credit card companies adding the joint bal and The lowing on limit was the reason I was way over. This was how I was targeted, what they did was illegal. Equiflex told me to send a certified letter which I did, but I didn't get back to them for good 2 months, I called Equifax and asked them if they got my certified letter, they said no. So we went over everything and I told this gentleman that I couldn't really keep up on it because of my health. I thought at this point that the credit reporting Bureau was a government agency because they call themselves the Bureau. I didn't get back to them I didn't check on my credit reports just try to keep my head above water Had a highly recommended accountant who turned out to be a total mess. Reflects on the belief in people's honesty and being let down when they are not. I Asked my husband to transfer everything out of my name. So his 401K was in his name only. On his deathbed, the lawyer had my husband approve the transfer of money from the 401K to an IRA, which made me feel awful. Lawyer, who was a family friend, seemed more interested in his financial gain. Had to face cancer alone after husband's passing, making dealing with credit agencies too overwhelming. No one informed me about the repercussions of taking money out of the IRA. Lawyer borrowed money from me and never paid it back. Had to buy the car and pay everything from the IRA. Accountant forgot to get an extension for taxes and penalties were incurred for state tax. Accountant advised me to just pay the taxes $*.* and $*,* state without exploring alternatives. IRS bill for the following year amounted to $*,*, which I didn't have due to paying off credit card balances.Moving, second montage, etc Made significant payments to credit card companies, including Discover, who in * pay them $*,* . *,.The balances of the joint account was transferred to my New Credit card, but after all this research I found out that it was illegal for them to add it to my account, as I was not the originator of the credit card * So again not knowing the law, not knowing my rights, these companies do what they want, and if they're doing it to me how many more are they hurting? *. They knew what they were doing and they knew it was illegal and yet they still did it over 1o years ago. /My credit score went down when they added the joint account balance and * yrs, my credit score went from * to *,, pushing me over the *% It gets better. I went to a bankruptcy lawyer, now I had balances on my credit cards ,which I was paying and keeping up with and now this tax bill. The fact that I owed the IRS $*.* was weighing on my mind and I didn't trust anybody else ,so I called the IRS told them what happened they looked into my finances and said, that the accountant should never had me paid them amount all at once, it should have been paid in payments and then they put me in non-collectible status where I still remain. I don't know what to do This lawyer told me to stop paying on my credit cards because we could do a bankruptcy and include the IRS bill. I paid him $*,* for this advice. I stopped paying on my * credit cards and he did a thing called a charge off . Chase e accounts was not one of them,,all of these cards had no missed payments. I should have paid more attention to what he was saying, I was just overwhelmed. I was paying each credit card, the * big Cards which I owed money to, I had paid them thousands of dollars, already by taking the money out of the IRA. I Dealing with credit agencies became overwhelming after facing cancer alone. Contacted Equiflex and Experience to report credit report errors but couldn't reach Transunion. used the cards for everything, buying the car, moving. House repairs, etc and then paid them from the IRA account, Discover which I had balance of $*,* Capital One which was $*,* and Bank of America which was *,* Do you see a pattern here? I didn't know what I was doing, so I relied on the professionals to get the right help. The lawyer told me to wait and see what happens. I was never contacted by the three companies that I owed but I did get a * on them. I never filed for bankruptcy. but the three charges went on my credit report for 7 years. Note I read in the cfpb that having a charger off on a credit report is wrong because a charger is actually considered income. I received a * which means that it was income and income is not supposed to be reported on your credit report. Is this correct,,, Having them on my credit report caused a hardship, Balances from the joint account were transferred to a new credit card, which was later found to be illegal. Unaware of the law and my rights, Consulted a bankruptcy lawyer due to credit card balances and the tax bill. Lawyer advised her to stop paying credit cards and suggested bankruptcy to include the IRS bill, charging $*,* for the advice. Four accounts were charged off, Used the IRA to make payments on the three major credit cards: Discover ($*,*), Capital One ($*,*), and Bank of America ($*,*), Reliance on professionals for guidance but feeling misled or uninformed. Lawyer advised waiting to see what happens but never filed for bankruptcy. charged-off accounts remained on the credit report for seven years. Learned that having a charge-off reported on the credit report is considered incorrect since it should be considered as income, as indicated by receiving a * form. When I took out money to pay IRS from IRA ,this was added back to my Income,, That is why it was so high,,,,they said the accountant should never have had me pay it all from the iRS . So now I am living on just SS . I called the IRS and found out that the accountant should have know that it would be considered Income and I would be taxed, fired the accountant At this point I fired the first lawyer. I fired the accountant. The second lawyer had told me to stop paying * credit cards and wait to file bankruptcy so I did. I tried to survive on the money that I was getting which wasn't much after I paid my health bills the only other resource I had was a reverse mortgage, so I did a reverse mortgage which was a big mistake but it helped pay for my home insurance, my taxes, on the house house repairs whatever I got a total of *,* I had no idea how the tax thing worked all I know it was helping me out. After 3 years I could go back to Social Security and I would see from my tax return that I didn't have the money I had for my social security ($2100 month,Now with the increase that everybody got I'm up to $*. But still trying to dig myself out of all the crap that I have gone through) well along comes covid now my cards are all maxed out but.paid every month my reverse mortgage money is gone this is about a *-year span . It is harder for me to maintain my home . I have to hire everybody to do anything for me. Yes, I'm a proudful person and I won't ask anybody, but anyways no one's coming around. Because of Covid I am losing friends because of this virus and I'm getting very lonely. my daughter asked me to come to live with her . I thought it was a good idea, now I thought I heard that the IRS was going to put a lien on my property because I was in\non collectible status ,so I put my house up for sale and it killed me. I love that house but it needed a new roof and air conditioning .I still cant get a loan,] Credit score low; my house. sold it in * hours. there was no lien on it Medicare informed me that I have too much money, resulting in an increased Medicare payment. paying a significant amount for health insurance, leaving little money for other expenses. The accountant should have known that taking money from the IRA would be considered income and subject to taxes. The first lawyer and accountant were fired. The second lawyer advised to stop paying the credit cards and wait for bankruptcy. i relied on a reverse mortgage to cover expenses but later realized it was a mistake. cards are now maxed out due to COVID-*, and maintaining the home has become harder. daughter suggested living with her , put the house up for sale due to concerns about an IRS lien. The house sold quickly without any liens, but I had to lower the price due to the house needing a new roof and air conditioning. Loneliness has increased due to losing friends during the pandemic. I paid off my reverse mortgage to move to Arizona. I paid to have my car shipped, I paid all the bills on closing the house and the Realtor. I ended up with $*,* which I deposited into the Chase Bank in * but after paying off the money I borrowed Setting up a place for me in her home, and everything else there was $* left in * December I moved in with my daughter it was at this point she saw my car insurance and told me I was paying too much money for it I didn't know, I had just finished paying off most of my credit cards this was during the pandemic so I called up Geico and ask them what this was all about why would I pay so much money and they told me that if they go according to your age and your credit score they feel that anyone with a low credit score is more liable more likely to put in claims and not pay their premiums I had Geico for 10 years never missed a payment never been in an accident never received a ticket and yet for a * Kia it was my husband's in Arizona my payment now would be * a year. I had my daughter call back and said that she wanted to register * Kia she is * and she has a pretty good credit score her price was $* a year. I thought age discrimination was not allowed and the fact that they were using wrong information to determine what I paid for car insurance I checked I was paying more of a house insurance everything in my house was costing me more because it went by the for the school which was wrong I had no idea I had to borrow money to pay off the things before I got the money from the house so it wasn't much left of that *,* after paying helpers to move I'm moving company a car company packing bills and the $*,* I borrowed to cover getting the house ready to sell that would do and I wanted to pay up all my credit cards and staff fresh My next bright idea was to get a loan, to pay off my credit cards, $* the cards were close to being max due to Covid. ( I knew nothing about the *% ) . Although my cards had high amounts, my payment history was very good, I had old Credit cards that wer , * , years old. These cards were mine, not joined Account. During this time my young sister unfortunately died I had to come up with money for my sister's funeral. My other sisters and I agree that we would pay $*,* each because she had nothing. I didn't think it would be a problem getting a loan because my payments are up to date and I have not looked at this credit report for 5 years. it was just such a stressful time I didn't want to go back to it. I was surprised when I got denied by the Lending Tree that was on Monday, on Tuesday I get a email with the lending Tree letterhead just like the first one except it said ,I was approved, called and found out they were Scammers and so my next 1o months of dealing with scammers, I learned some interesting things which I will share with you later in this email). I tried again and got rejected again. Now I went to look at my credit report,, My credit report is wrong, I mean *% wrong tried to get them it fix, Name, address, accounts, dates,, closed accounts all effective my Credit score. I send letters, but daughter forgot to send certified waited *, days nothing changed, so I called Equifax , told the agent I wanted to To dispute a charge-off I figured I'd just start with one problem.. Remember the charge off Discover was gone and Bank of America got a * on them, the last one was Capital One, but now it was sold to a lawyer , date and amount was changed given them more time…I said so in the dispute. I called Equifax they Said they would look into it with my corrections then I called Experian. I talked to a girl named Jennifer asked her to remove the things on my credit report that were wrong that I did not authorize. Everything from wrong addresses to dates everything. What she did was put a fraud alert on it. I called and tried to get it removed which was quite difficult and it finally fell off . Subject: Urgent Legal Assistance Needed - Financial and Credit Reporting Disputes
Dear [Lawyer's Name],
I hope this message finds you well. My name is April and I am seeking your expert legal advice regarding a series of complex financial issues that I have been dealing with for several years.
In summary, I have experienced several significant life events including the death of my husband, personal health issues and financial hardships. These events have culminated in a series of legal and financial challenges:
*. Disputes with credit reporting agencies: Following my husband's death, I experienced issues with credit card companies and credit reporting agencies. They transferred joint account balances to my new credit card and drastically reduced my credit limits, which significantly impacted my credit score.
*. Bankruptcy and Tax Payments: I consulted with a bankruptcy lawyer due to high credit card balances and a substantial IRS bill. However, no bankruptcy was filed and these charged-off accounts have remained on my credit report for seven years.
*. Potential Malpractice: I have previously encountered advice from professionals that seemed misleading or uninformed. This includes an accountant who advised me to pay a hefty IRS bill in full from my IRA, which resulted in additional tax burdens.
*. Other Financial Issues: I've struggled with inflated
this lawyer just had a case where a women credi rate droppen * points becsus the credit agency had wrong information,,my was * thenwenr o * so THAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED,,TRY AGSIN
It sounds like you're dealing with a serious issue of credit score reduction due to incorrect information from the credit agency. In Arizona, you might have legal recourse under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). This law allows you to:
*. Dispute inaccurate information on your credit report.
*. Seek damages if the agency fails to correct the errors.
I recommend you consult with a local attorney who specializes in credit report disputes for a more personalized advice.
I DID AND THAT IS HOW I FOUND OUT THAT THE INFOMATION THAT CHASE USED O CLOSE MY ACCOUNTS, IS TOTALLY WRONG
I'm sorry to hear that. If Chase used incorrect information to close your accounts, you may have a case for financial harm. You could potentially pursue a claim under the Fair Credit Reporting Act or the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I recommend further consultation with an Arizona attorney specialized in consumer rights.
IS THERE A STATUE OF LI,MITIANS OF THIS
In Arizona, the statute of limitations for most debts is six years. However, for debt collection under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, it's generally one year. For credit report errors under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you have two years from the date you discovered the error. Consult a local attorney for detailed advice.

Subject: Urgent Legal Assistance Needed Regarding Credit Score Discrepancies and Violations of Fair Credit Practice Act
Dear [Lawyer's Name],
I am seeking your professional assistance regarding some serious financial issues I'm facing. I have been dealing with inaccurate information on my credit report, which has drastically reduced my credit score from * to *.
This issue is similar to a recent case where a woman's credit score dropped due to incorrect information from the credit bureau, violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). I believe I might be facing a similar situation.
Chase, the bank in question, has used this incorrect information to close my accounts. I understand that this might be a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act or the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Furthermore, despite reporting this issue, the credit agency has been stalling on correcting the errors.
As the complexity of these matters is beyond my understanding, I am seeking your expertise to navigate these legal issues effectively. I hope to discuss this further and explore potential legal remedies or actions that can be taken to address these challenges.
Please let me know if you are available for a consultation at your earliest convenience. I am ready to provide any additional information or documentation necessary for you to assess my case thoroughly.
Thank

Subject: Request for Legal Assistance - Credit Report Inaccuracy and Resulting Financial Harm
Dear [Lawyer's Name],
I hope this letter finds you well. I previously contacted you regarding my issues with the Credit Reporting Agency and Chase Bank. My situation mirrors that of Nydia Jenkins, who experienced a significant credit score drop due to Equifax's error. I believe my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) have been violated.
In my case, inaccuracies on my credit report led to a severe reduction in my credit score, impacting my financial life significantly. Chase Bank used this incorrect information to unjustly close my accounts. I have attempted to rectify this with the Credit Reporting Agency, but they have not been responsive.
I have attached pertinent documents for your review:
*. My case history
*. Full Case Information
*. Correspondence with Chase sent to CFPB
*. Credit report screenshots
*. CFPB notice regarding Credit Agency errors
*. Information on the Morgan and Morgan case
I'm hopeful that you can assist me in resolving this matter.
