I have a cemetery plot in wake forest nc. I have a credit with them. They sent me a one page contract and told me there were no other paperwork. I ask them for my credit back and was told they could send it to another cemetery that was in the association. But wouldn’t give me my money back. They would just keep my money. I asked for the rest of my contract, and was told the one page is all there was. At the time I got my contract was when I had to buried my daughter there. And there were a lot more pages than one.
Hello Paul, I'm sorry for your loss and the trouble you're going through. To fully understand your situation, could you please tell me when you entered into this contract and any terms it might have regarding refunds or cancellation?
It was June * I don’t have the contract. I don’t remember anything about them being able to keep my money. There are other things on the contract. Grave marker, opening and closing. And some other things. My x wife is on the contract, but I have been paying for this myself. If they rewrite the contract and deduct the rest that is not going to be used it should let me be able to own the plot . Then I can resale it.
