Yes, I have a question regarding an automobile accident. On Monday, September *, my car was involved in a major car accident. The car was totaled, caught on fire. No injuries to any other parties involved. I was not driving the car at the time of the accident. The only driver in the car was my husband. We are separated. Live at separate addresses, but we share children and I happen to do a favor by lending him my car. He was involved in the accident; however, he is not listed on my insurance policy. I am the only driver listed under my policy, which is for PIP insurance. I also live in the state of Florida. I haven't contacted my insurance company yet, but I plan to purchase a new vehicle next week. I am undecided on how to approach my insurance company with this information. Will I be penalized or have to pay a fee? Also, my insurance is still valid until October 20th. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
