What steps have you taken to request a copy of your original lease agreement from June Homes?
I have tried to retrieve the lease signed via docu sign but it is unavailable. It is not available in the portal login where you can pay rent either
Have you contacted June Homes directly to request a copy of your original lease agreement?
I have been in contact with June Homes resolution team on their company phone app. They are not always responsive. I have not directly asked for the lease copy. However, I did inform them that I gave them a new resident that is staying at a June homes unit, who is signed for a 1 year long lease, which should more than compensate my lease, considering that my lease was 4 months.
Have you formally requested a copy of your lease agreement from June Homes in writing?
no
Have you considered sending a formal written request to June Homes for a copy of your original lease agreement?
Yes
What was the response of June Homes when you informed them about the new resident who signed a 1 year lease?
My words were that when June Homes told me to find a tenant replacement, I gave them two approved applicants and that one of them signed 1 year long lease. They first acknowledged that applicant signed for a different unit then denied any one signed any agreement. I had to talk with June Homes sales team to confirm that the new tenant did sign a 1 year long lease. The resolutions team was still trying to hold me responsible for the room despite my actions. I pointed to them many repeated times and laid it out clearly in a response, by telling them out June Homes supports relocation of tenants to other owned-units so the new tenant choosing a different apartment unit than mine is the equivalent since there was always going to be a vacant room. I pointed out that I more than compensated with a replacement by giving them a tenant who is signed to ONE YEAR versus simply taking over a 4 month lease. They have not responded back
