I got sent a cease and desist letter from someone claiming to be a representative for Justin Timberlake on TikTok. But it’s from a blank account. I called the law firm and they said the lady that’s on the cease and desist papers doesn’t work there anymore. She retired and they think someone is pretending to be their law firm and the lady. She said they don’t have social media. I sent screenshots but she hasn’t got back to me yet

Why hasn’t the law firm got back to met? After I sent screenshots?
The law firm may be investigating the matter or they may be busy with other cases. It's also possible that your message was overlooked. You could try reaching out to them again for an update.
So if the lady is retired and doesn’t work there anymore then that’s probably not real? But the celebrity is a client for their law firm they confirmed that
It's possible that the cease and desist letter is not legitimate. However, it's also possible that the retired lawyer's name is being used without her knowledge. It's best to consult with a local attorney for advice.
