I installed Solar panels in August *. I had requested that the company tell me if my roof needed to be replaced prior to signing the contract. I was told the install is good to go. Within 1 months of the solar installation I was told by a city inspector that the roof should have been replaced prior to install. I questioned the solar company and they tried to place the blame back on me. Stating I should have waited if I wanted a new roof. They are going to charge me $* to uninstall and reinstall the panels or I forfeit the warranty. I reminded them they performed a site visit because I am not qualified to know the roof condition. They ignored me for months, left my property damaged, never activated the solar but had permission to operate. Then Two weeks ago I reach out to manufacturer to find another company the can keep my manufacturer warranty for uninstall and reinstall of the panels. I discovered, only * panels were installed.
