Hello Robert, the hearing date for an eviction case in California is typically set by the Superior Court. You should receive official notice from the court. However, it's best to keep in touch with both the court and your attorney to be sure.
I haven’t received a date yet. It’s been11 days since I submitted my response
Hello Robert, it may take more time due to court schedule. If it's been more than 15 days, I'd suggest contacting the Superior Court or your attorney to get an update.
I just saw that I am getting a mailing from the plaintiffs attorney tomorrow. Do you know what it could be about
The mail could be related to your case, such as a notice, an update, or some documents. Since it's from the plaintiff's attorney, it could also be an attempt to negotiate. However, it's best to consult with your attorney upon receipt.
Ok. Thanks
You're welcome, Robert. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have more legal questions. Remember, it's important to keep all the documents you receive and stay in touch with your attorney. Good luck with your case.
