Tenant Rights Violation California

Summary

The tenant in California faced issues with the new landlord who took over the property without any formal notice or new rental agreement. The new landlord violated the tenants privacy rights by entering the property without notice, removing storage sheds, and questioning guests. The tenant had not yet taken any steps to protect their rights or establish a new rental agreement with the new owner. The tenant had made improvements to the property with the previous landlords consent, but had no written agreement about these improvements. The tenant planned to fight any potential eviction.

My landlord gifted my property that I've been renting for the last 4 years to her son, with no new rental contract with new owner. This happened in May this year from what I found out online not by my landlord. After her son (new owner) has been taking down some storage sheds that I've been using, walking throughout my yard "looking for trash" several times a day (in his own words) he also took down a fence in my yard without warning. He has been asking everyone that has came over to my home who they were and why they were there on many occasions. I've had conversations with my roommate that took place in my kitchen on * different occasions just to have him address it the same day or day following. What can I do?
