I writing in reference to a charge for a plumber to come out to my apartment. I live in subsidy housing Christopher Homes of Hot Springs Arkansas.
Her is what actually happen. My cat had kidney failure which I didn't know till this happen. He was urinating in the kitchen by the wall it was clear look like water did not have a smell. I thought it was a water leak. I called my manager Alyssa Taylor and she came down looked at it said it would have to approve to have a plumber come out. They sent Jarrell plumber out 7 days later to look at it he said he have to cut into the wall. They decided to call in another plumber * weeks later he said the same thing or it could possibly be animal urinating. I finally caught my cat during this took him to the vet and it was kidney failure.
They are charging me for a bill of $*.* . The break down was for travel charge of $*.*
Fuel charge of $* service call $* and labor of $*
They kept my pet deposit of $* which I agreed to but said I owe $*.* for the rest of the bill.
The man only looked at my apartment and unit * which I s next door he did not do any physical labor except walking and looking.
My question is am I responsible to pay the rest of this bill.
Did you sign any agreement or contract with the housing authority or the plumber regarding the responsibility of such charges?
